Dedication of Melody

We are dedicating Melody who is Melony and her husbands firstborn.

The Milan team is doing a medical mission in a village. The NC team came to church and then went to Antigua.

I know that when you and I look at the physical condition of Dottie we may ask “Why?”. The plans that God has for us does not always line up with what we consider a blessed life. I cannot answer the question about Dottie, but I have watched for over a year now at her joy and laughter and her continued love for the children.

She is one of the most blessed women I have ever known. She had trouble sleeping so about 4 a.m. she was in deep sleep but when we woke her up for church she just laughed and laughed and almost couldn´t stop.

I just love her love for God and her acceptance of her condition. But although she is handicapped, she is filled with God´s love and joy.

Gill and Colton had lunch with us. They oversee the transition houses and maintenance. We had a great visit.

I want to share with you the name YAHWEH which is translated JEHOVAH meaning “He who is.”

Exodus 3:14 says, “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel. I AM has sent me unto you.” It expresses the idea that only God has self-existent being.

The name is so holy that the Jews would not utter it aloud. I AM; Who was, Who is and Who is to come. Mark 6:50; Luke 21:8; John 8:24, 28, 58; Revelation 4:8.
