Adela cancelled Michel´s eye exam in the city because there continues to be tremors all the way into Mexico.

As I write this there have been two more quakes of 4.8 strength. There has been considerable damage in villages where the construction is not up to code. Two more deaths reported. There have been over 150 tremors although most are not felt. But the seismic activity continues. 

We had to cancel Michel´s eye exam at Roosevelt Hospital in the city due to the tremors because it is very frightening for her.

The staff had a going away party for Cindy B. who has been so tremendously important to Casa for years. She has given hundreds of tours and blessed hundreds of children. The older boys are so attached to her. She came to Casa in 2001, so she is so special. There will be a large hole when she leaves that will be impossible to fill. She has been so important in Dottie and my lives. We will miss her tremendously.

Her family in NC has wanted her to return for years and I am happy for them and sad for myself. Her plan is to spend 3 months in the states and one month here, so we are not losing her totally.

The transition girls brought me doughnuts for my birthday and the kids in my house cooked steaks and had another cake. I am stuffed.

Another name for Jesus is MASTER which could be translated at TEACHER. In Matthew we read in 8:19 “And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest”. Master means “teacher” or “rabbi”.

Jesus is the final source of truth concerning God. He is the only teacher who can show us the way to go and live. In John 20:16 and John 14:6-7 we see the use of the words Rabbi, Rabboni, Teacher and Truth.
