Busy, busy, busy

A week after this picture was taken in the hospital a year ago this month Dottie was paralyzed from the waist down. I want you to look at that smile because that is what she looks like everyday despite her illness.

It has been a special 4 weeks as we have had visitors every week with more than one team most weeks. The children have had a blessed time and although they have school until noon, they have folks here to minister to them, and I am grateful for all that the teams do. We do not have nearly as many children as we once did but every child needs love and a knowledge of Jesus.

The Ruston, Louisiana team arrived today with over 30 folks so I gave my testimony once again.  That is why I pray for visitors to love and minister to our children.

Jimmy Swaggart, evangelist, died at 90 years of age. I knew him well and our Christian school in Lake Charles had various competitions with his high school in Baton Rouge.  I know of his moral failures, but I choose mercy. I know that many were saved through his ministry. My prayers go out to his son, Donnie, and his ministry.

Makko has Bible lessons with different age groups and yesterday it was boys ages 4-9.

Today was also parent´s visitation so we are very busy.

As we continue to look at the names of Jesus we come to JUDGE/RULER. Jesus is our judge as well as our advocate and lawyer. John 5:22-23 “For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: that all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent Him.” Jesus, the very one who is our Advocate before the bar of God´s   justice, has been made judge of all. (Romans 8:33-34).
