Tony Bernard an artist from Louisiana who has given me dozens of paintings of LSU and Louisiana sent me three more LSU paintings he has done, and they are beautiful.

I was able to give my testimony yesterday to the Family Life Louisiana group and it was very emotional for me. What an awesome life Dottie and I had in Lafayette. Tony, Chad and Misty were all young and the church family was awesome. I was one of 8 pastor/teachers and hundreds were saved over the years there before moving to Lake Charles.

We had a 4.0 quake at 2am and a 4.1 at 6am. This has been going on for nearly a month. One group had smores for the children and the other went to minister in a village.

We can see another name for Jesus was TRUE VINE as seen in John 15:1, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.” Jesus is the Son of God by nature. Jesus is our connection to the source of life. As God He has life in Himself. Having become a man, He extends that life to all who believe.

Study the word “BRANCH.” It is so important for us to stat connected to Jesus. Without this connection we can never perform all the duties God expects of us. God tends to the vine so He can ensure its fruitfulness. Do you realize that the Vine is the source of our lives.
