Quique is such a blessing to Dottie
Walt and Randi took their NC team to the lake for 2 days to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. Before they left they gave cake to all of the staff.
Larry and Sue stayed here with Dottie and I and again we sang old hymns together which Dottie loves.
Kristi and Brian´s team from Houston spent time with the children and then went to Antigua.
Continue to pray for a nurse for Dottie as we have had a nurse from W. Virginia contact us and we are excited because she says she resigned her job months ago because she had a desire to serve as a missionary.
Another name for the Lord is YAHWEH-NISSI which translates to the Lord My Banner. Exodus 17:15-16 says “And Moses built an Ark and called the name of the ark Jehovah-nissi. For he said, Because the Lord hath sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”
Isaiah 11:10 says that Jesus, the root of Jesse, is our banner. Ancient armies carried banners that served as marks of identification and as symbols that embodied the ideals of a people. The banners increased their faith and showed that God had not left you alone in the battle. If we keep our eyes of Jesus we will not be defeated.
31st: Yesterday we had a 5.4 followed by another 5.6 magnitude tremor within 5 minutes. Later 4.1 and 4.2. and another 5.4. There has been a lot of seismic activity. The Texas team had an outreach and then left for the USA. I think I do not pay enough attention to myn updates as I seem to push the wrong buttons and you do not get the update.
Another of our older girls, Rocio, is leaving here after years. She came to casa atage 9 and is now 21.She has a job and will live with her sister until she gets her own place. It is so hard for me to let them leave. I am like a mother hen that just wants to cover them all under my wings.
Wednesday I heard on the news there was a major earthquake of 8.8 in Russia and tsunamis may be present. We continue to have small tremors.
Jutiapa here in Guatemala was hit with a 5.8 earthquake causing houses to collapse. It was followed by a 5.7. Many homes cracked and others collapsed.
YAHWEH-RAPHA is another name of Jesus found in Exodus 15:25-26 and means the Lord Who Heals. “And he cried unto the lord; and the Lord showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statue and an ordinance, and there he proved them. And said, If thou will diligently harkened to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statues, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that health thee.”
