VBS Conclusion

My most favorite photo of Dottie and me.

I had a real nice conversation with Chris who worked a couple of years at Casa many years ago. He and Heidy live in Oklahoma, and he wants to help Casa. I appreciate his willingness to get involved as he was here in the heyday of Casa.

I watched Dr. Jeffress, First Baptist of Dallas, and he spoke on Body Building which spoke of Jesus as the Head of the Church and each of us being an arm or an eye or a leg or a specific part of the Body of Christ. It makes me wonder how difference the world would be if we as Christians found out what part of the body they are and function that way.

We do not deserve within ourselves to be a part of the wonderful body of Jesus but because of GRACE and MERCY God has chosen us and embodied us to be His arms, legs, heart, and whatever part of the body He has made you.

We took photographs of all the children and dorms.

Sunday, all the older young people went to Adam´s for two meals, Bible study and fun.

The Oklahoma team had hot dogs and goodies for all the children.

My granddaughter , Aria, finally came home from the hospital.

Another name of Jesus is HOPE found in I Timothy 1:1, “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God, our Savior, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our HOPE.” Jesus is our confidence. Jesus is our only source of hope in the world. His conquest of death gives us confidence now and for the future. Colossians 1:27 says the Hope of Glory and Jeremiah 17:3 says Hope of Israel.
