The West Virginia team raying for Dottie
As Dottie and I pray we cannot but help to mention the names of those who have agreed to pray and believe for a miracle for Dottie. She has had so many visits from children raised at Casa who are married, have a family, have a church and have a job. As a father I could not ask for more.
With as many children that we have raised there are some who did not stay strong and receive all that God wanted them to have. One young man who left years ago and now lives in the states, has a family and a good job told me that his problems were not with me or Casa but that he just wanted to know his father.
I am sure there are many of the other children who were so hurt because they lived for years at Casa but never knew their real parents. I am so sorry that I did not do a better job of reconnecting them with their birth parents.
The West Virginia team all came together to lay hands on Dottie. We are grateful to have so many believers come throughout the year.
Orlando wrote his very first check today for me.
The 8th responsibility we have towards others is to have compassion for one another. Compassion to me is when I have your hurt or pain in my heart. It says in I Peter 3:8 “Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one to another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous”. When I see Dottie so ill, I pray harder and I love harder. I want to carry some of her pain.
