Quique and Yohanna

Johanna grew up here and cared for Quique when he was infant/toddler. I performed her wedding 16 years ago and that was the last time I saw her until today.

Dottie was so happy today as Marlin, Shirley, Jasmin (Querwin´s wife) and Yohanna visited the last 2 days. Yohanna grew up a Casa and I performed her wedding 16 years ago. When she was here, she took care of Quique when he was a toddler.

Querwin lives in South Carolina where he works 8 months out of the year. Jasmin is trying to get a visa for her, and the children so please pray that it happens so the family is together.

The college students and all young people over 18 moved into the new transition homes which have been refurbished and so very nice. This honors one of the governments’ complaints about Casa. They never liked us taking entire families and having young children mingling with the older teens so maybe now they will begin building our population. Hard to communicate with them.

All the judges and officials I worked with for these 35 years have retired, died or changed jobs. They do not know me.

There are only 12 in the baby dorm. Yohanna and Gladys are in my room right now and said they remember when we had 140 toddlers and babies in the baby dorm.

The next name identifying Jesus to us is EMMANUEL or IMMANUEL found in Isaiah 7:14 which says ¨The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and his name will be Emmanuel.

In Matthew 1:23 we read “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which interpreted is, God with us.” Jesus was born on earth as a real human being. He entered space and time to become one of us so we might be with God forever.

In John 1:18 Jesus is referred to as Only Begotten God. Emmanuel signifies that God is personally involved in our lives, offering comfort, guidance and salvation.
