Nestor and Robin

Nestor and Robin

I went to bed with a tremendous headache that lasted 2 hours and when I woke up this morning I couldn´t walk straight. Please pray I do not have physical problems. We certainly do not need both Dottie and myself weakened.

Today is visiting day for the children. It will include lunch also for the parents.

Dottie has a cousin, Joe Dimaggio, who passed away last night in East Texas. A few years ago, we spent a weekend with them and spoke at the Methodist church. Dottie had not seen them in years, so they spent hours speaking of their family. He was a kind and gentle person.

Nestor, who was raised at Casa, and his wife Robin came to visit. They live in the states and return to the USA Tuesday.

The seventh responsibility we have towards others is to edify one another and is found in Romans 14:19, “Let us follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify one another¨

This means that we encourage, strengthen and build up other within our community or Chrisian family. We are to use words that promote growth, support and unity rather than negativity or discouragement. Probably the best way to describe edify is to say we want to instruct and improve those we love especially in moral and religious knowledge.
