The near future

Dottie needs Adela and Julietta helping her stand with a walker. She cannot move alone. But they love her so much.

Amalfi was one of our first girls and is married with a son, age 22, and a daughter, 18 years old. Hard to believe. She married a wonderful Christian man. They have a wonderful marriage.

I am very concerned about what will happen this year. Adela has worked and lived in our house for 7 years but graduates in July as a psychologist. There is no one here that can live with Michelle, cook all the meals and care for Dottie.

Tony, our son, and Lily may take Michelle, but I am not sure if Michelle would be able to live full time there. She loves to spend weekends with Tony and Lily, but long term will be a challenge.

Taking care of Dottie is my major concern because I am too weak to pick her up and carry her to the bathroom. So, we are begging for your prayers for the Holy Spirit to give me direction. God must lay it on someone´s heart. I need your faith to mingle with mine to know what to do with what years we have left.

God blessed us with two young boys ages 8 and 11 years old.

The fifth responsibility to others is found in Colossians 3:16 where it says, “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

We are to teach others as we ourselves learn. I have been so blessed to have sat under some strong teachers of the Word. My years in Lafayette sitting under 7 very strong men of God prepared me to become a teacher. There were 8 of us teaching in the Bible college and now I am the last one living. When I preach or teach, I dedicate those lessons to those other 7 men.
