Shirley

After being ill for two days I woke up feeling much better.

I saw Shirley on the highway and picked her up. She graduated from college and is working towards her masters degree and needed paperwork from Xenecoj. So, I took her. Shirley is one of the greatest success stories from Casa.

The second principle of faith is that faith helps us stand up before God and others.  In II Corinthians 1:24 “Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith you stand.”

Every Christian needs someone else in their lives that help us navigate this life. I have two friends who are there for me every day. And I sure do need it. As I have aged so many of the Christian men and women who prayed for me and counseled me have passed away.

Two of them were always there for me for over 30 years but they both have gone to meet the Lord. God replaced them with two other men who are faithful to pray for me daily. I know there are many others who remember Dottie and myself in prayer daily.
