Nurse Candida

Registered nurse Candida. We are so proud.
You may remember Candida who is the young lady who when I asked the children many years ago what they wanted for Christmas she answered, “I want you to adopt me”.
She has been a wonderful daughter, a solid wife and a loving mother. Today she graduated as a Registered Nurse. I am a proud father. She was horribly abused as a young girl, beaten and thrown into the streets where she began to walk for day.
A pastor´s wife found her and led her to Jesus. A judge sent her here many years ago. I
t is because of young people like Candida that everything Dottie and I have suffered by being away from family and friends in the states has made it worthwhile. I cannot even begin to understand how wonderful it will be when the entire body of Christ will be together for eternity. No more separation from those we love.
The second responsibility to one another is found in Colossians 3:9 which says, “Lie not to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds”. Before we get saved, we are natural born liars and exaggerators. That is our nature because we are children of the devil who is a liar and cannot speak the truth.
Lying and deceit are constantly condemned in the Bible portraying them as abominations in God´s eyes. The Bible emphasizes the importance of truthfulness and honesty. Lying is a sin that can destroy all relationships. Proverbs 6:17 describes lying as one of the things that God hates.
