God hates lies.

Eliseo

Dottie and I had a special time yesterday morning as she woke up about 2am without any cover. She woke me up and after tucking her in she wanted to talk about things from the past.

We talked about coming to Guatemala in the pickup truck with 5 children and knowing no Spanish at all. She spoke of San Cristobal where we received over 20 children in a 3-bedroom house. She remembered the chicken ranch where we had so much fun with so many toddlers and pre-teens.

But it was talking about the construction on this property where thousands of children and visitors have made the difference in the lives of so many people. She truly loves all the visitors and workers who have come to Casa over the years.

Josue and Estella are going home to Tennessee to take care of business for a week.

Ted is coming this week. He is a board member.

Our second point of responsibility to others is found in Colossians 3:9. “Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds”. Can you imagine what life would be like if we all (including me) would put that verse deep into our hearts? Lying is described as a false witness, a betrayal of trust, and a departure from the truth. God consistently condemns lying as a sin and an abomination to God. God hates lying in any form.
