Father/Daughter

Alison

It is so nice to have the Michigan team here. It is a father/daughter trip and that really blesses me. I remember a large church from Fayetteville, Arkansas sent 25 pairs of mothers/ daughters for a week and the following week the fathers/sons came. The feedback from those two teams was wonderful. Family vacation with the Word!

The graduating seniors began their practicums in 10 different locations, so they are getting a taste of the real world.

Dottie had a second night of intense pain in her legs. Because of the hydrocephalus she retains water in her legs, and they swell causing intense pain. Using the compression boots and the Tens helps but she suffers. I feel so helpless.

Our greatest weapon and medicine is heavy prayer and I know many of you pray daily for her.

The 9th responsibility we have to others is that we are to treat them with hospitality. I Peter 4:9 says, “Use hospitality to one another without grudging.”

Hospitality means a practice rooted in Biblical practices, demonstrating love and care for others, especially those in need. It is a way of expressing God´s love by welcoming, serving and ministering to others. This is what we want from visiting teams and their interaction with our children and staff.
