A beautiful woman of God.

Feeding Quique 24 years ago.
The photo of Dottie and Quique doesn´t give you the entire picture. There were 6 children 2 years old and younger 24 years ago when this photograph was taken. My wife is the real deal when it comes to serving God by serving others.
The neurologist said that Dottie is retaining water in her feet and must walk more. She cannot even stand alone so two people have to hold her and she shuffles because she cannot lift her feet.
She has not gone to church on Sundays for 3 weeks and although she has a great attitude and is filled with laughter it is obvious she is hurting. But she always answers, “I am fine”.
I thought I would drive to the city while Dottie had therapy but the traffic was so bad I turned around half-way down the mountain and just went home.
The last of the 14 principles of faith is found in Colossians 2:7 that tells us having faith allows us to be thankful. “Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding with thanksgiving”.
I truly believe apart from faith, hope and love we are to be filled with thanksgiving. Again I will use Dottie as my example. Her mind is slowly leaving, and she is totally unable to do things for herself. Yet she has the sweetest attitude, laughs at herself and is grateful for everything and everyone in her life.
This 14th principle of faith is truly a deep foundation. To be thankful when so much is wrong and difficult truly separates the average Christian from those deeply grounded inn the Word.
