Sunday is Dottie´s 82nd birthday. Even as sick as she is she is always happy. I asked her about her attitude, and she said “It does not help to be angry or sad. We must take the good and the bad”. She has such dignity. When we married in 1963, we said the words “For better or worse” and we intend to keep that promise.
She did have a rough day today but still is smiling. Untried faith is uncertain faith.
A solar water heater was placed on Fernando´s house. I am anxious to see how it works.
The last two weeks have been extra stressful for me and I ask your prayers.
The fourth purpose of the Bible is found in John 5:39 where it says the Word testifies of our redemption. “Search the scriptures; for in them you have eternal life: and they are they that testify of Me”. The more you read the Bible the more you will be certain of your salvation. I never read the Word without learning more about myself and Jesus. Search the Scriptures daily as mines of gold in the heart of Christ is laid open.
