80th Birthday
Trees fell on the electrical lines in San Lucas and all of the surrounding villages were without electricity for over 12 hours. I worried and prayed about the water because we run it on a generator when the electricity is off. Oscar did a great job and we did not lose pressure.
Josue’ and Estella took Dottie and myself out to breakfast for my 80th birthday.
When I look at the ages at death of the men in my family I am truly blessed to have lived this long.
Some of the children, now adults, called to wish me a happy birthday. It is happy because so many of those who grew up here are married and are parents. Many are in churches and some are even ministers and others have their on businesses. I am so blessed to have lived to see this happen.
The team had crafts with the girls and volley ball with the older boys.
