HUMILITY

Compared to the last few days today was very quite. In fact I spent a great portion of the day listening to messages by Jeremiah and Stanley as well as reading writings by Andrew Murray.

I am not as humble as I should be so I studied scriptures dealing with humility. Jesus found glory in taking the form of a servant. Matthew 20:26 says, “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant”.

Jesus came to bring salvation to the world. His humility became our salvation.

Pride is the loss of humility. Augustine said “If you ask me what is the first thing in religion I should reply: the first, the second and the third thing therein is humility.”

I assure you that I pray for humility so often.
