I took a “me” day and just listened to Christian biographies. I studied Rees Howells, George Whitfield, the Wesley brothers as well as Billy Sunday who once held a crusade for 7 weeks in my home state of Louisiana.

As a baseball player who heard singing at a bar next door to a church he was saved. At just one service he preached in Shreveport over 10,000 walked the “saw dust trail” and through the 7 weeks thousands were saved.

It was a good day for me. I love reading how God used people all over world and over hundreds of years.
