I have no idea when Debbie & her family as well as thousands more of Lake Charles & Southwest Louisiana residents will be able to return to their homes. I am concerned that the damage done by Hurricane Laura is being forgotten by those from outside the region.

The Covid-19 pandemic, the riots, the meanness of the upcoming election & the hatred for the police are causing Lake Charles to be forgotten. It may be years before things are normal.
