#367 our story

Today our staff had a graduation ceremony with a government agency(CNA) celebrated a course given the last few weeks to all the staff.

I couldn’t sleep so I just made radio tapes.

The Tyler, Texas went to Antigua.

We are having troubles again with the water well.

3/1/2004  The sharing portion of our trip is over so we drove from Tupelo to Gulf Port, Ms. Where we bought more Christmas gifts and we were able to load the container with the help of Mike B. and members of Pastor Rodney’s church in Escatawpa. We will try to purchase things we need and load it in order to ship the container in 5 days.

3/2. We did shop until midnight and loaded those final items on the container. After lunch we drove to New Orleans where we saw the movie “The Passion of Christ”.

3/3. We went to the bookstore at New Orleans Baptist Seminary and from there we stopped to visit my mother and my sister. Then we drove to Lake Charles where we met with our children and grandchildren. We celebrated all of their birthdays with a cook out and gifts.

3/4. We spent time with Senator Mark Abraham and his wife, Gina, then packed for the trip home. We also did some paperwork with Debbie our office manager. We had supper with our son, Tony.

3/5. Left very early with Malcolm, a board member, and Tony to drive to New Orleans. Malcolm treated us to a seafood dinner on Lake Pontchartrain. We then checked into a hotel where we repacked for tomorrow’s flight to Guatemala.

3/6. We arrived home in Guatemala and were greeted with an electrical problem that was happening off and on for the month we were gone. This affected our well. We have no water pressure in our pump. What is coincidental is that as I type this it is February 18, 2020 and we have been experiencing electrical surges for a month. Oscar has had to get up 4 or more times some nights as the well quits running due to the spiking electrical panel.
