2/10/2004. Today is our 41stwedding anniversary so we drove to Montecello where we will minister tomorrow. Our anniversary meal was a barbecue sandwich and curly fries. Of course we had time to also do a little Christmas shopping also.

2/11. We spoke to the employees of Maxwell Flooring at noon and then drove to Little Rock where we shopped for Christmas and then spoke at Temple Baptist in the evening. We spent the night with Wes and SueAnn. He is our board chairman and our friendship has lasted for decades.

2/12. We had lunch with two couples who are considering coming to Guatemala as house parents. Then we drove to Fayetteville to visit with Dottie’s brother Jim and his wife Linda.

2/13. I attended a men’s prayer breakfast and then Dottie and I spoke to the employees of North Star Partnering Group. Later we met with the director of Shiloh Christian School at First Baptist of Springdale. They asked me if they could send a father/son team for a week and then a mother/daughter team the next week. In the summer they did just that and it was awesome as I received letters later from the two teams telling me how much closer they had gotten to their parent or child. The father/son team built a church in a village. It was an awesome experience.
