#611 our story

As you know Dottie’s favorite Doberman passed away & today Josue’, Minor & Tony bought her a beautiful grey dog. She was so excited. It is a Weimaraner. She named him Spot.

A couple of the visitors helped Dottie in her garden.

The kids just love the new dog.

The Honduran migrants coming through Guatemala are saying, “There is no work for anyone over 30. Our only hope is to reach the USA.”

Jim took the boys today & the girls yesterday to see the movie “Pilgrim’s Progress”.

Dottie with Spot

12/20/2003. Tonight was one of those beautiful father and daughter moments as a 15 year old girl who had been raped from 8 to 11 years of age before she came here. She came to me broken because the mother knew the man who raped her but refused to identify him before the judge. I really believe that as horrible as the sexual abuse was the refusal of the mother cut much deeper in this child’s life.

I guess that with all of the abuse that I have seen perpetuated against the children the one that sticks deepest in my heart is the 15 year old impregnated by her father and then beaten until she miscarried. Absolute animal.

Last night, January 24, 2020 Dottie and I were watching a special documentary on the children of the Holocaust and we discussed the fact that Satan can literally take over a human being’s body. Satan is so evil and I long for the day Jesus returns.

One boy who has never even seen his father and has been here for may years was contacted by a judge who asked him if he wanted to see his dad who is HIV positive. He is not sure what he wants to do.
