specific purpose

Our children wanted to give a donation from their sponsor or salaries for the volcano victims and they gave $1350. This is incredible from children who have so little. It is a testimony of their love for God.  Some staff helped also.

We will use this money to buy canned goods and water.

We have a team from Kentucky and one from Tennessee here.

God has called us to live for a specific purpose. Our purpose can be found through praying, reading the Word and discernment by the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:28 “Be fruitful and multiply”. This is God’s purpose for us.

That can be reproduction of children but it can also mean spiritual reproduction. We should produce the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, long- suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

We are designed to increase and grow. God desires that we are fruitful, creative, reproducing individuals. He has given us authority over His creation. He wants us to be a blessing to others and to free them from the yoke that binds them. Presbyterians say that the main purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. We should be subject to God, to love Him, to walk with Him and to fellowship with Him.

Micah 6:8 says, “And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God”. He wants us to manage this world as His sons. We need to be stewards of all that He gives us.
