The teams are separating donated shoes while the men are tiling a bathroom.

With what the children donated and what some others have given we will have over $4000 to buy food the victims of the volcano. God is so good. 110 bodies have been found but hundreds are missing. The government reported 1000s of homes have been destroyed mostly those of poor famalies.

The Bible provides us with a good deal of advice on decision making. When making a choice take time to pray. We must trust in the Lord and have faith in His plan. God’s primary means for giving guidance is His Word. If we know and understand the Bible we will have an opportunity to know His guidance.

But we must also have a knowledge of God Himself. What pleases God? What displeases God? There is no substitute for walking with God to know His will.       I Corinthians 2:14 says, “The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned”. When you know God you will experience His guidance and direction. You will come to know what His will is.

II Chronicles 7:14 says, “If My people who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land”. This type of relationship with God takes time. But if you are consistent your senses will be sharpened.

Proverbs 3 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding and He will lift you up”. I need the Holy Spirit. “As many as are led by the Spirit are the sons of God”.
