I have to go to SAT (IRS in the USA) because they emailed to say that I need to pay taxes on our flat bed which is more than 10 years old. Always something!

Our high school had sports competition in San Bartolome.

We also have college students who began and will come for 4 months to teach aerobics for the girls of all ages.

When I was growing up I spent many nights on the farm of my grandparents. They raised beef, horses, sheep, pigs, chickens and oxen. Once a year all of the neighbors, probably 8 families, would come to our farm with the animals they wanted butchered. So all of the men would butcher the animals and the women would prepare and divide the animals according to each family. At the end of the day we would have a meal that would rival that of a king’s court.

Hospitality is a word that has slowly become absent in the English language. It has floated away from our culture. Many families do not know their next door. Now-a-days people would rather go to a restaurant than cook a meal for a neighbor.

The Bible has much to say about hospitality. I Peter 4:9 says, “Show hospitality to one another without grumbling”. Hospitality is all about attitude. You can cook for someone without having a hospitable heart. Doing something that you have to rather than wanting to do it is not God’s way.

Hospitality is not just with people you know. Leviticus 19:34 says, You shall not treat the stranger that sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God”. Every single person on this earth deserves love because you have been given the ultimate love by Jesus Christ”.
