The schools in San Bartolome’ are hosting games and competition every Friday for 2 months and our children from kindergarten through high school are participating.

We had our monthly staff worship and Word time. Dottie shared with everyone how we used only a keyboard when we had 500 children. I can still remember the praises of the children.“God lives in the praises of His people”. Psalm 22:3. It was fun to remember those days.

Gentleness can be one of the most controversial character qualities because it is often assumed that gentleness and justice are opposites. But the truth is that gentleness and justice balance one another.

The definition of justice is “taking personal responsibility to uphold what is pure, right and true” whereas gentleness is needed to keep justice from becoming revenge. Gentle justice is firm and decisive but always makes room for repentance and restoration.

But justice balances gentleness in that justice protects gentleness from becoming a license for wrongdoing. When someone sins justice insists that the gentle hand give room for correction. Gentleness is best summed up by the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!
