Serve by loving

A motorcycle ran into Angie’s car. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. Angie was not physically hurt.

Cindy will begin hemo dialysis as her catheter is too slow.

Walt & Randi played with water balloons with their dorm and soon water was going everyhere as Estrllitas and Esperanza were wet also. Wet is fun!

The team cooked marsh mellows and had praise and worship with Vencedores and the older boys.

Galatians 5:13 “For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another”. We have a Christian duty towards our brothers and sisters in the Lord. God tells us to take care of one another.

The greatest service any of us can perform is to bring the light of the Word into the lives of others. God does not want any to die without knowing Him. When Dr. Lou called me about taking a child dying from kidney failure my first reaction was “I do not want a child that I know will die within months. That is so hard on the children as well as me”.

But as I prepared to pray for the child in the hospital the Lord spoke to my heart and said “Do not let Him die alone in a hospital and without knowing Me”. That sealed it for me. No one needs to die alone and no one should die without the opportunity to know Jesus as their Lord.

How do I know I am a servant? I can answer the following verse with an acknowledgment that I am willing. “If you love me, keep my commandments”. Do I love Him enough to love others?
