I finished my testimony for the radio program at KAJN in Crowley, La. It took exactly 50 five minute programs.

The mistake we often make when we ask Jesus to guide us is that we think His guidance will show us the future. But I have learned and many of you also have learned that guidance from God is normally ONE STEP AT A TIME! He wants us to depend on Him at all times.

He has good reasons for guiding us one step at a time. I do not know why He doesn’t show me farther into the future but He has good reasons. I wish I knew all of those reasons. But I do know that He will never fail to guide me if I take one step at a time.

If He gave us more information we would probably drift away from Him. We would not depend on His wisdom and love on a moment-by-moment basis as He intends us to do.

If we know into the future we would fail to depend on His loving guidance. We would essentially forget that we need Him one step at a time.

Proverbs 3:6 “In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path”. Do not just come to Him when you are frightened! Come to Him daily and ask that He guide you through the only day you are certain of and that is TODAY.
