The NC team began demolition of the bathrooms. They will have to work long hours to get them rebuilt. There 18 people and they brought 39 suitcases. It was a sight to behold. The women on the team began sorting used shoes with Dottie. Then they went to the feeding center.

Continue to pray for our daughter, Tanya, as her chemo is making her sick and weak.

Demolishing the bathroom.

DeHaan says that patience has its rewards. 1. Patience leads to earthly rewards. Remember how God restored every double that had been taken from Job. H refused to curse God and give up and no one exhibits more patience than Job.

  1. Patience provides us a better end than the present. Ecclesiastes 7:8 says that the end of a thing is better than its beginning.” Plautus said that “Patience is the best remedy for every trouble”. Keep doing good and allow God to reward you.
  2. Patience allows us to bear fruit from seeds of faith. “The seeds that fell on the good ground on those who heard the word and with a good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.” You do not plant a seed and eat fruit the next day. It takes time. You have to wait to enjoy the fruit of your labors.
  3. Patience wins the approval of God. Psalm 40:1 “I waited patiently for the Lord, He inclined to me and heard my cry”. I Peter 2:20 “What credit is it if when you are beaten for your faults you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God”

5.Patience makes us a good example before others. “We ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure”. (2 Thessalonians 1:4) We are a witness to others when we endure though our trials with patience. Impatience is a poor witness.
