Memory of God
Jerry helped as we cut down a dead tree. Gaby wanted the limbs to make flower arrangements. She has the same heart for flowers & plants as does Dottie.
We feed 12 in the dialysis dormitory, as there are two boys without the need of dialysis but developing renal problems who have to eat the same diet.
I began meeting with the girls only as we discuss relationships.
A group leaves tomorrow and another team of 22 arrives so our summer is underway. Josue & 3 others donated blood today as Anthony needs another stomach surgery.
I worked on lessons for the teenagers & began the end-of-the-month reports for Debbie. We have 90 children without sponsors.
The Bible says that God remembered Noah(Genesis 8:1), Abraham(Genesis19:29), Rachal(Genesis30:22) and Hannah(I Samuel 1:19). It also says that He remembers His covenant (Exodus 2:23-25). Futhermore, He remembers His promise(Psalm 105:41-42); His creation(Matthew 6:28-30); OUR works(Hebrews 6:10) and OUR Prayers(Acts 10:31).
The Bible even says in Malachi 3:16-18 that God has a Book of Remembrance and that book will be opened when we all get to heaven and the blessings are to be bestowed.(Revelation 20:12)
I am grateful that God remembers those things but it is what God FORGETS that blesses me the most. In Isaiah 43:25, Jeremiah 31:33-34, Hebrews 8:12 & 10:17 it tells us He forgets our sins. He casts them away when we receive His Son Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
But then I must conclude with another of the things He remembers. In Psalm 98:3 He remembers His mercy. He is a merciful God and once we are saved He will no longer remember the sins that are now under the blood of His Son and cast as far as east is from west.
