I made an error yesterday as it it Sunday September 17th we will have the evening service open in Fayetteville.

We have a visiting dentist who was able to see a number of our children which is good because our own dentist is pregnant so she gets 3 months off by law.

The teams are working in a number of dorms and other areas. It is so good when you get visitors that can help & not only know what to do but have a heart to do it.

Bob & his carpentry class took old frames and made table tops for the dining area. They are so nice.

I began my “relationship” teaching with the boys tonight.

Do you realize how much we have in Jesus? Colossians 2:5 “Steadfastness of your faith in Him”. The foundation of our faith is based on us being in Christ. I am only as strong as my depth in Him. His Word, my prayers and worship!

I have redemption in Him. Ephesians 1:7 “In whom we have redemption”. My salvation comes from being in Christ and He in me. He bought me and I am His.

Ephesians 1:6 “Accepted in the beloved” I am unacceptable to God until I get in Christ. He must be my hiding place, my rock and my salvation.

I am complete in Him. Colossians 2:10 “You are complete in Him” In Christ is where I grow spiritually and the closer I am to Christ the deeper my roots grow and the taller I become spiritually. (Like a tree in Psalms) I do not want to be a runt for Christ. I want to mature.

Colossians 2:7 “Built up in Him”. Our scripture for this ministry in Matthew says that we have built our house upon the Rock”. My building is laid on Christ and His finished work at Calvary. If I build a life with the materials of this natural life my eternal home will collapse. He is our Foundation!

Colossians 2:7 “Rooted in Him”. The old oaks of the Gulf Coast have withstood hurricanes for centuries. It is not because of big limbs and many leaves. It is because of a root system that is as large underground as what you see above ground. My roots which YOU cannot see must go deep in Christ and His Word.

Finally, Colossians 2:6 “Walk you in Him”. All of the “in Him” verses lead to this one. If we do the first 6 then this last truth of walking daily with Christ as our teacher will come true. I need a guide and a teacher. I need a mentor. I need direction. In Him is the only place we learn, have victory and grow.
