We have 10 nurses coming Saturday from the dialysis unit in the city to host a party for the children in dialysis here. We need to hire 2 to help Aroldo.
Joshua 1 tells us to be strong and courageous because God is with you. In fact he says it 3 times in chapter one so he certainly was emphazing the fact that fear will come against us. How we handle fear will determine whether we succeed in our walk with God or not.
Someone once said that you miss 100% of the shots you never take. That is so true. If you are afraid to step out and trust God you will always fail. I was so afraid when I crossed into Mexico in 1989. No faith! Just fear! I knew that God had called me to Guatemala but I was clueless as to what to do when I arrived. But if I had never stepped out and allowed my faith to overcome my fears I shudder to think of all the multiple blessings we would have missed these last 28 years.
Prayer is when we all need to do when we are in fear. I know that is 911 prayers but it is sometimes all we can do. We cry out to Him when there is no way to turn. God listens when we pray. I have personally discovered that praise and adoration are key ingredients in any prayer offered to God.
