Sucely had surgery on her cleft lip and is doing well. She is truly a special young teenager.
The junior high & high school began their workshops. One team is working on sheetrock. Walt & Randi are preparing to move some of the boys in a week.
However on a national level the headlines in the paper blared that the Mafia has killed 3 mayors this week. That is a first. Glad I am not in politics.

God refers to witnessing as fishing. He tells the disciples to follow Him and He would make them fishers of men. My son, Chad, loves to fish. In fact, I do not know another person who loves fishing as much as Chad. Jesus refers to our witness as being as fishermen.
We need the same passion as those who fish. To witness we simply tell others what we have experienced. In 1 John 1:1 “That which was from the beginning which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched…”.
If you have not experienced Jesus in your own life you will not be able to witness effectively. But if you have experienced His love and kindness you can share that with others. “Here is what He did for me!” What has Christ done for you? Being a scholar of the bible is not necessary for witnessing. Witnessing is living for Jesus in such a way that we have stories to tell.
When my old school buddies get together we share stories of the past but also hat has happened to us lately. What has Jesus done for you in the past and in the present? Tell someone!
