We Rested!!

As I speak of what words are in my mouth I have to check how what feelings are in my heart. Luke 6:45 speaks of speaking out of the abundance of my heart. If I speak critically it is because my heart is filled with such thoughts.

Judgmentalism comes from a critical and self-righteous heart. A bitter heart produces filthy, accusing words. An ungrateful heart produces complaining words to flow.

On the flip side of my heart is a gracious tongue. That arises when I am filled with a love for my Father that overflows into the lives of those around me. A faithful heart will cause truthfulness. A peaceful heart will bring reconciliation. A trusting heart will produce an encouraging tongue.
