Christmas Eve & we woke up to the water tower pouring out water. Chad & I climbed the tower & fixed the leak.We had to get help later in the day & the problem was fixed.
Yesterday the appliances for Los Cometas were delivered & Walt & his family will be here by the end of January. Can you pray that God would send a married couple to serve as substitute house parents when the regular house parents need a rest?

I am taking a break from Jonah for a few thoughts on Christmas. Even the heather say "Merry Christmas" so I want to say to all of you "Have a Christian Christmas". This is such a special time. Many people say that December 25th was not the actual day Jesus was born and we have no reason to celebrate. That is true about the date but in truth all of heaven rejoiced at His birth. So it is important that we as Christians worship Him every day and to make one day a remembrance as we do is important to me and most Christians.
Luke 2:10-11 says, "And the angel said to them, 'Fear not for I bring you tidings of great joy; which shall be to all people. For unto you this day is born in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord".
Here Jesus received His name. In all eternity it was the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Now the Son had a name. The Christ! The Son was given a name. All heaven was singing "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to all men".
Sin prevents us from having national peace or world peace but we can have inner peace. We can have self peace. We can have the peace that no one can understand unless they, too, have the peace of Christ Who died for us.
Have a Christian Christmas!
