Sindy, in dialysis, will not be able to wear her evening gown & be presented as a quinceanera because she has been scheduled for surgery to replace her catheter. I believe she will be able to spend one night at the hotel with us & the other girls.

Hezekiah is granted 15 years more of life but it was not going to be a good thing. He would become proud of the miracle as though he was the reason it occurred. He shows off his wealth to the son of the king of Babylon. Isaiah will return with another prophecy and this one pretty much says “You are an idiot”. When Hezekiah dies his son, Manasseh, will reign.

He departed from the Faith of his Father. II Chronicles 33:2-3 “But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel. 3 He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had demolished; he also erected altars to the Baals and made Asherah poles. He bowed down to all the starry hosts and worshiped them.”

Would you believe that the son of Hezekiah would offer his own sons as human sacrifices? He would rebuild the pagan altars and much, much more.

Hezekiah began his ministry with worshipping God and destroying the knowledge of pagan worship in Judah. When he took office the people worshipped God for 7 days non-stop and returned home to destroy their idols.

Hezekiah would have an awesome prayer answered by God and an additional 15 years added to his life.

But now comes the problem. He became prideful in what God had done but he made it known that it was because of he, himself, not God who brought about the miracles. His son would be an evil and destructive king undoing all his father had accomplished.
