Dottie and I entered the ophthalmologist office at 9:30am. We left there at 7pm. She was diagnosed with macular degeneration in her right eye. It literally came on her overnight. Her grandfather went blind with this disease and her sister, a cousin and other family members have also suffered the same disease. So we are in another battle as this has no cure and progressively causes blindness. But our God is greater than anything.

Dottie has such a positive attitude as she said “You have a bad foot and a bad back and now I have a bad eye to go with the ringing in my ears.”  My only genious response was “I did not know that “growing old together” meant this.

When we got home at 8pm the 8 teenagers in our house encircled Dottie & prayed so the battle is on.
