We are called to be heroes.

Each year we are in the states when it is Michelle’s birthday. She has special needs. Gladys is stay in our house with the 5 boys and 2 girls. So she had the boy’s cook a special meal and the girls baked a cake and they made the day special for her.

Here it is cold but dry. We are resting.

Each and every Christian is called to be a soldier in the army of God. Satan is the prince of the power of the air as stated in Ephesians 2:2 He lives in the atmosphere around us. He operates to change your atmosphere. He cannot kill you but he can affect your climate where you become a useless soldier. Like the soldiers with Gideon God will say that He cannot use you in the battle.

If we are soldiers in the Christian army we will CHANGE the ATMOSPHERE where we live or where we serve. Satan is attempting to take away joy and peace of those around you and replace them with misery and helplessness.

I John 4:4 says that we are children of God and have overcome the devil because greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world. There are special Christians who battle the enemy and hold the fort until the reserves come in.

David killed Goliath BUT the Israelites had to follow through and destroy the Philistines. Joshua and Caleb spied out the land BUT they had to hold on to their faith for 40 years until the reinforcements came. Joseph went to Egypt alone BUT years later it was Moses who led the Israelites out of bondage.

There are always special forces in God’s army. One of the prayers Dottie and I pray is that we will be faithful to stand UNTIL the reserves arrive.

That is what we refer to as transition.
