Josue’ & Oscar took me to lunch for my birthday since I did not want anything done following the accident. They even got me a baby piñata.

Oscar received his “stamp” which indicates he is a professional architect & capable of working anywhere he desires.

Have you blown it? We ALL have blown it! Romans 3:23 “For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. I have failed more times than I can count. I have messed up numerously. I have spoken when I should have shut up. I have waled where I had no business going.

I have wished that I could redo much of what I have done in the past. I want a “do over” and there is no way to relive what has already passed. But I can react correctly  NOW.  I can RESPOND in a different way.

Like the prodigal son I have wasted opportunities, money, time and whatever else can be measured. I have been to the “far” country just like the prodigal. I have gotten away from God at times and my life became selfish and wasteful. I compromised. I have been filled with shame. I have stood so guilty before God more times than anyone can remember.

However into my life came the wonder of mercy and the joy of grace. I had left God’s presence but He never let me leave His heart. He loved me in spite of my mistakes and sin. He forgave me when I was breaking His heart.

But repentance brought me back to Him and repentance continues to bring me back to Him as I still fall short of His glory.
