The child, Jose, with Fancona anemia is having a blood transplant today and will have to take even more medication.

Jose, dialysis, surgery was cancelled because his blood count is too low. He, too, will have a blood transfusion and surgery later.

Marjorie came home from the hospital and her situation is not very good. In fact, the physician is suggesting she go home as he thinks she is going down very quickly. So pray, pray, pray!

Proverbs 14:23 “In all labor is profit”. This scripture needs to be written into the heart of every Christian. Profit is not only money which is what we think of. Profit in marriage, business, prayer, relationships and health are just some of the areas where we all need to profit.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 “Whatever they hand finds to do do it with all your might”. It appears to me there are many people who are half-hearted. They do not appear to be motivated. Colossians 3:23 should be our ONLY motivation to work hard.”Whatever you do, work with all your heart for the Lord and not for man”

So many people believe they need to work only if the boss is watching. Look busy if the teacher is nearby! Speak kindly if that certain person can overhear!

But the truth is that the only reward at the end of our lives is “Well done thou good and faithful servant”. Any other motive for which I have labored will burn in th fore of God’s judgment and what is left is only what I have done for Christ alone.
