Teachers decorating for graduation

We oft at 5:30am to buy the flower for graduation. All of the teachers came at noon to decorate the building and a number of visitors helped Dottie with the bouquets made by each of the Quinceanerras.

A number of years ago when I first was saved I found that friends are a strong indiction of our spiritual condition. You cannot have lukewarm Christian friends if you are going to make a difference in this world. You need people around you who have a heart for God. Of course having friends is something we need to do if we are to be effective witnesses to them. But closeness is not an option with a backslidden or cold-hearted relationship with God.

Boy have I ever seen here at Casa that kids with the certain attitudes attract others with the same attitude whether those attitudes are negative or positive. Being around positive people will cause you to have a positive attitude whereas a person with a negative attitude will rub off on you. The way we act transfers itself to others around us.

For instance, the children here at Casa who are serious about continuing this ministry after I am gone hang around me and ask questions about everything from how to believe God for finances to why I have mercy for children who are negative in actions. They want to know what I think and what I feel. That is what God means when He says in the Bible “Iron sharpeneth iron”.

We draw people to us with our life style. Homosexuals draw homosexuals. Rebellious teens draw other rebellious teens. Godly teens draw other Godly teens. This is a no-brainer. Our ways and thoughts become the ways and thoughts of those like us.
