Generous hearts

One thing I should share with you about the children at Casa is that “You do not have to be rich to be generous.”

In the early 1990’s I took three children to McDonalds for their birthdays. All three asked that their hamburgers be cut in half. They brought that half back to their brother or sister.

I cannot even begin to tell you how generous the kids are. Money from sponsors are often divided with siblings. The Guatemalan teens who have a job and salary here do the very same thing.

Anne Frank(The hiding place) said, “No one ever becomes poor by giving”.
