#362 Our story
The teams held a soccer tournament, painted, put in sheetrock, had VBS and devotionals, continued making cabinets and much more.
Griselda is worse so keep praying.
Another of the adopted children is here. Lily is now 17 and lives in Humboldt, Tn. I am so blessed to see her. That is 5 children in two weeks & I suppose they are reaching an age where they can come see and learn their culture.

1/31/2002. Our men are taking four large trees brought here by a village church and we are making tongue and groove boards for their church floor. It is such a blessing to have the equipment as well as the willingness of our men to help other ministries.
We had another victory today as Carlos presented our case to the Department of Education concerning a number of our children. For instance, Waldina is an excellent student but she is 14 years old and in third grade. So Carlos asked the Supervisor of Education to permit us to allow a child to study two grades in the same year. They approved so we will allow some students to study 3rd/4th; 5th/6th
7th/8thin the same year. These older children look at their age and feel as though they will never be able to graduate. So now if they have the ability and good behavior we can provide this opportunity.
2/1/2002. The teams from Montana, Tennessee and British Columbia are all working on the new dormitory. We had a judge and some of her workers come by to see Casa. She said that she heard good things and wanted to see for herself.
2/2. Today was cleaning day so all of the children were responsible to make sure that their areas were presentable. We changed butane companies so we received a 1000 gallon tank and three 500 gallon tanks. The weather is bitterly cold. I allowed a small group of teenage boy and girls to go to Guatemala City to the movies unsupervised. Each couple also had money for dinner. It was a special day for them and it showed the trust I have in them.
