Pastor Teddy

Elmer playing the piano for praise and worship

Earlier this week Brother Teddy from Grand Bay stopped by for a quick visit. Last week he retired after more than 35 years as pastor of Friendship Baptist in Grand Bay, Alabama. He served that same church as Youth Pastor for 11 years making it 46 years of service.

Despite him being an Alabama fan and me an LSU fan he is a very dear friend. His daughter, Deidra, has a wonderful ministry here in Guatemala.

Father God You are MERCIFUL. Mercy means to be full of compassion and leniency to manifest an unusually benevolent spirit of forgiveness to show unusual compassion, leniency or tolerance to victims of misfortune. Psalm 86:15 says, “But You o Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to get angry, full of unfailing love and truth.”
