Praising God is the act of expressing deep love, honor and thanks to out Creator for who He is and what He does.  We praise God because of obedience. The Bible tells everyone to praise God. It is also an expression of gratitude. It shows thanks for God´s love, mercy and daily help.

Father you are GENEROUS. Generosity is to be willing to share or to give. The inclination toward or characteristic nature of an unselfish release of one´s possessions to benefit others. It also means a lack of pettiness or meanness in thought or behavior. Psalm 115:13-16 says, “He will bless those who fear the Lord, both great and small. May the Lord richly bless you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, who made heaven and earth. The heavens belong to the Lord, but He has given the earth to all humanity.”
