Jorge

Jorge was our first child through the courts.

Jorge was killed when he was only 22 years old. He was studying medicine. He would go with me to preach and after a service he told me we needed to build churches. Because of him we built many churches, Sunday school buildings and homes for pastors.

The team from Wisconsin are taking all the beds and cabinets out of Estrelitas and sanding them down as we will eventually refurnish that dorm.

The police came and did a driving course for our drivers.

I stand in awe of the compassion of God. The Hebrew root (Rachum) in the Old Testament is the primary word for compassion and is closely tied to the Hebrew term for a mother’s womb. Compassion in the New Testament is described as Jesus feeling compassion in His “guts” which is a profound, core-level reaction to human suffering, sickness and spiritual lostness. He feels what we feel.

As we continue to look at God´s holiness we see being holy is existing in a state of absolute spiritual perfection and purity. Psalm 99:1, 9 says, “The Lord is king. Let the nations tremble! He sits on His throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earthquake! …Exalt the Lord our God and worship in His holy mountain in Jerusalem, for the Lord our God is holy.
