A Good Week

Larry and I in matching shirts.

Both teams have had a good week. The North Carolina team finished building the home for a poor family. They were so filled with joy as the house was dedicated to the Lord.

The Oklahoma team had an exceptional service for the children, staff and visitors. They also are laying hands and praying each day for the dormitories.

Dottie had lunch with them and they did her fingernails

The Bible has a lot to say about kindness. We need to show kindness to those around us. Kindness reflects the heart.  Jesus gave us the ultimate example of kindness. Acts 14:17 says “Yet has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their season; He provides you with plenty of food sand fills your heart with joy.”

God´s holiness! The English word “holy” derives from the Anglo-Saxon word meaning “well or whole”.  That which is holy, then, is that which is whole or complete. We need nothing but the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Holiness is separateness. We are separated for the Lord´s work. Holiness is that which exists in absolute purity. Holiness is synonymous with divinity. A strong revulsion to sin is to walk in holiness. God hates all sin and so should we.
