Our 50th.

Thirteen years ago we celebrated out 50th anniversary. That is a day I will never forget. I remember singing “Through It All” to Dottie. It got many laughs but it was so true. We have been through it all but God is still with us and we are stronger than ever.
The Louisiana team left Wednesday morning. The Tennessee team leaves Friday. Yesterday they did some sheet rock mudding and taking up the floor tile in the older girl’s dorm. Today they went on an outreach with Adam
I taught on The Bible last Sunday and this Sunday I will teach the children about Grace. I believe a great separator between Christians and non-Christians is Mercy and Grace.
Galatians 5:22 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and temperance.” There will always be those whom will be unkind to you. But when you return kindness for unkindness you don´t have to rub anything in their faces.
SPIRIT OF GRACE AND SUPPLICATIONS is another name for the Holy Spirit. Zechariah 12:10 says, “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the SPIRIT OF GRACE AND SUPPLICATIONS: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one who mourns for his only son.” This is a clear reference to the crucifixion of Jesus. Along with the Messiah, God the Father would also send the Holy Spirit whom Zechariah describes as the SPIRIT OF GRACE AND SUPPLICATIONS. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins and leads us to place our faith in Jesus Christ.
