Cement Mixer

This is how we built dorms.This cement mixer was used by hand when we built the dorms. The children would grab a wheel barrel and not give it up even taking it to the cafeteria.

Cook Baptist from Rustin, Louisiana arrived yesterday. Two of the boys on the trip were adopted from Casa when they were very young. One is married and this will be the first time I will see his son. So exciting.

The children have been very active with the staff having many games and competition for them. They had a second holiday so many wanted to help pull grass on the drive way.

Joy is elusive without Christ. Joy is not happiness. Happiness is when things go your way. Joy is what happens when we trust in God´s promises, find contentment in daily life and resting in his presence rather than depending on temporary world circumstances.  Psalm 16:11 says 2you make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fulness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

“A new heart also will I give you, and a NEW SPIRIT will I put within you, and I will take away the stoney heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26. Jeremiah is known as the prophet of the new covenant and Ezekiel the prophet of the NEW SPIRIT. He uses this term three times in His book. NEW SPIRIT refers to the spiritual redemption that God would provide for His people through His love and grace.
